Pivot Tables

Today I created a pivot table (for the first time ever) using Microsoft Excel. I first entered in data. My data was made up, but you can use this when you actually collect real data from in field research, surveying, or whatever other methods you use to collect data. After entering the data I went to insert, clicked pivot table, and then selected (by dragging and dropping) which data fields I wanted in the columns, and which data I wanted in the rows. After doing that, I dragged the data field I wanted to be counted into the appropriate field. The end result was this:

This document is helpful when analyzing data, comparing multiple data fields, sorting data according to multiple attributes, conducting surveys, or just for the sheer fun of creating tables. Check it out!

All About Me

Hello,
My name is Sarah Crowley. This is my first year teaching Reception at George Town Primary. I was born in Grand Cayman but just recently moved back after living in the the USA for about 15 years. I enjoy going to the beach, watching any movie with Denzel Washington or Leonardo DiCaprio, spending time with my 19 year old cat, and I love eating patties.  I hope to gain helpful tips and strategies for integrating ICT in the classroom to enhance my children's learning experience and keep my parents well connected.
